Since 1956, the South Carolina Student Legislature has been sculpting future leaders in its student-run mock legislature. We boast several hundred members and over a dozen member colleges and universities across the State of South Carolina.
Our organization needs your help. In this economy, schools are finding it harder and harder to provide their delegations with the funds to attend our biannual sessions. Students are being turned away from participating in SCSL, not because of lack of merit, but because their delegations lack the funds to send them. The more funds we have, the more opportunities we can provide. We are currently working on several different projects to expand SCSL's influence even farther across our state. We want to begin reaching out and keeping our alumni base up to date on the great work we are doing, while also providing booklets of our bills to State Congressmen and Senators. Even this "Donate" page could develop into an SCSL merchandise HQ! We survive on donations from people like yourself: help us to thrive! |
